Brief Description:  300 Degree Ironing of the Upper Left Wing

Using the larger iron set to 300 degree ironed the top of the wing starting with the center rib. Alternating ribs from the center ironed each rib across the wing doing half the wing from one side and then the other side. Next ironed between the ribs again starting in the center of the wing and alternating sides across the wing. Turned the wing over and ironed the bottom of the wing the same as the top.

Applied the fiber tape over each rib center on the stitch holes. Ran out of fiber tape half way down the wing. Used the soldering iron to melt each stitch hole through the fiber tape and fabric. Installed pop rivets in each of the stitch holes that were melted open. Went into town and purchased another roll of fiber tape. They only had tape that was 0.7 inches wide. Spilt the tape at a 1/2 inch and laid that down on the remaining ribs of the wing. Melted the remaining stitch holes with the soldering iron. Also melted out the material around the pitot mounting bracket. Installed pop rivets in each of the remaining stitch holes. The fabric taping of the ribs will have to wait for the next work day.
