Brief Description: Finished the Covering of the Lower Right Wing
Applied fabric tape to the aileron edge on the bottom of the wing. Put tape around the wing tip and ironed it in place with the small iron. Applied glue to each tape and wiped away the excess with a shop towel. Applied a tape along the leading edge over the rib tape ends. Turned the wing over and applied a tape across the leading edge over the rib tape ends. Ironed the wing tip tape in place and glued it down. Using the larger iron, ironed the top at 300 degrees. Turned the wing over and ironed the bottom at 300 degrees. Set the iron to 350 degrees and ironed the bottom. Turned the wing over and ironed the top at 350 degrees.
Applied glue at each location marked for inspection rings. Removed the ticks from the molding forms on each ring and placed one at each marked location. The covering material for each ring will be applied the next work day.
