Brief Description: Installed the Tail Wheel Bungee Cord
Used five feet of bungee cord and wrapped the tail wheel forward shaft tightly and secured the cord to it’s self with four hog rings. Evaluated several springs to go on the tail wheel horn and settled on a 2 1/2 inch medium spring. Connected the springs to the horn with a split link. A five inch length of steel link chain is connected to the other end of the springs. A small steel clevis is pined to the end link of the chain which will connect the control cable to the tail wheel.
