Completed painting the green color on the inter wheel cover. Also added some black paint to camouflage the access hole in the cover to complete the painting of the inter wheel cover. Set the cover aside to dry.
Mounted the adapter block to the first wheel over the cover with five1/4 inch hex head bolts. The nuts used included lock washers and additional blue lock tight to secure the bolts. The stator was bolted onto the adapter block with four 3/8 inch bolts secured with blue lock tight. The second wheel was assembled by the same process as the first wheel. They were set aside for transport back to the airport for installation on the airplane.
The outer wheel cover blue points were sanded with fine sandpaper and another coat of blue paint applied with a brush to each of the points. They were set aside to dry during lunch. The blue points were again sanded and another coat of blue paint applied with a mini roller. The outer covers were set aside to dry overnight.
