Brief Description: Grounding the Fuselage and Engine
Marked the location for the firewall pass-through fitting and using a step drill put a 7/8 inch hole in the firewall. Secured the 4 gage firewall fitting in the hole using a aluminum washer on the engine side of the firewall and using blue lock-tight to secure the nut.
Made up the grounding cable from 4 gage wiring by completing one end and then putting the cable through the pass-through fitting before completing the other end. The grounding cable will terminate at the lower right engine mount. A second groiunding 4 gage cable was created to connect from the engine mount to the alternate frame thus grounding the engine.
An 8 gage cable was measured from the alternator to the amp shunt. The alternator cable end was completed and mounted to the alternator. The shute end will be completed when the correct terminal is obtained. The inline fuses were mounted in the holders and tighten down. The clear covers were put in place over each of the fuses.
