Brief Description: Fitting and Install Forward Fuselage Cover
Marked the areas around the front center wing struts on the cover requiring removal of material for proper fitting. Slid the right side of the cover up and forward to clear the strut. Used the dremel tool to remove material on the cover to the marked lines. Repeated the process on the left side of the cover. Slid the cover back in place and applied some lanolin to the gas cap and rubber seal and fitted the gas cap onto the gas tank. Installed a 1032 pan head screw on each side of the gas cap and at each edge of the firewall. Slid the oil filler assembly into the cover and connected the drain hose to the top of the oil tank. Installed a 1032 1/2 inch pan head screw in the center of the instrument panel.
Centered the experimental banner on the seat back top to check alignment and fit. Wiped down the area with alcohol and let dry. Removed the backing from the banner and stuck it on the seat back. Set the letters firmly on the seat back and then carefully removed the covering being careful that the letters stayed stuck to the seat back,
