Worked on fitting the left lens in the wing stub. Attempted to mount the lens and found that the alignment was off. Also the strip holding the anchor nuts came loose on one side of the bottom strip. Removed the lens and applied silicon cement to the strip and held the strip in place with a #8 screw. Moved to the right side and attempted to fit that lens in place. Found that the anchor strips on the lens were coming loose so applied silicone cement and held them in place with #8 screws. Let the silicone set up and then retried the mount starting on the bottom. Installed three #8 1/2 inch screws in the bottom of the lens. Applied a three inch segment of duck tape to the face of the lens. The tape serves as a handle to pull the top edge of the lens into alignment with the mounting points. Installed three #8 screws in the top edge of the lens. Used a 1 1/2 brass screw in the top center hole to pull the lens up in the center to be replaced when the outer two screws are in place. To be completed during the next work day.
