Brief Description: Fairing for the Elevator and Rudder Cables
Heated a glass pan of water to about 150 degrees. Placed the major part of the polly plastic sheet into the water and watched it turn clear. Turned the plastic around and placed the area that was being held into the water and waited for it to turn clear. Removed the plastic sheet and placed it over the mold in the marked position. Wet my fingers with water and smoothed down the plastic while it was still clear over the mold. Allowed the plastic to cool until it turned opaque and then carefully removed it from the mold. Trimmed the edges with scissors leaving about a 1/4 inch lip. Repeated the process for three more fairing.
Reviewed the electric diagrams and counted up the switch requirements. Found that I was short about six switches for all of the circuits planed for the instrument panel. Turned over the instrument panel and marked the location for the carb heat display. Not sure just how I'm going to get a rectangular hole cut into the panel.
