Brief Description: Control Cable Faring Cover Male Form
Cut a 6 inch block of hard wood. Marked the center of one end and placed a mark 1/4 inches either side of the center mark. Measured 1 inch back from the other end of the block and drew a line across. Using a straight edge marked from the 1/4 inch marks to the cross mark. Using a jig saw cut the material away from each side per the marks. Laid the block on its side and marked from 1/2 inch from the bottom to the top cross mark. Again cut away the excess wood leaving a ruff shape of a fat tent peg. Sanded the edges away across the top of the form with a small belt sander. Next used a hand held orbiter sander to continue the rounding of the peg. Finally sanded the peg with a sheet of 220 grit paper by hand to its final shape. Form to be attached to a short piece of board.
