Trimmed the excess veneer from the edges of the instrument panel. Marked the ends of the veneer on each sides of the instruments. Placed a line of masking tape along the top edge of the veneer to keep the contact cement off the veneer. Laid out a section of veneer under the instrument panel and marked the length required to cover the top. Marked a square line across the veneer sheet at the mark. Cut away the excess material. Sprayed the top of the instrument panel with contact cement. Laid out the section of the veneer face down and sprayed it with a coating of contact cement. Anchored each edge of the veneer and left to dry.
