Laid out two of the W1 2 inch pipes and clamped them together flat on the table. Laid the 0.02 sheet of aluminum marked W9, 3 inches wide and 6 foot long, on to of the two pipes. Measured along the spar and marked every 4 inches down each pipe. Drilled a 1/8 inch hole at each marked location, reamed each hole and installed a 1/8 inch pop rivet at each hole. Measures down the other side of the spar and marked each 4 inch space so that they were not aligned with the rivets on the other side. Again reamed each hole and installed a 1/8 inch pop rivet at each hole. Installed a second sheet of aluminum alone the spar to cover the remaining pipes to within 4 inches of the end. Drilled and installed 1/8 inch pop rivets as described above.
