Brief Description: Construction of Outter Wing Struts
Measured along one strut for 54 inches and marked for cutting. Used the chop saw cut the end at the 54 inch mark. On the second strut measured out 55 3/4 inches and marked for cutting. Again using the chop saw cut the strut at the mark.
Aligned the end flange using a 1 inch pipe across the end of the strut. Drilled a 3/16 inch hole through the flange and strut and secured the flange to the strut with a 3/16 inch pop rivet. Repeated the process for two more pop rivets for that flange leaving a space between the first and third rivet for the AN3 bolt and tab for the cross brace cable. Turned the strut over and repeated the process of securing the flange.
Move to the next strut and secured the flanges to the cut end as described above.
