Brief Description:  Fitting Lower Right Wing and Ground Cables

Set up the laser level and checked the wing stubs on each side for equal distance from the firewall. Both sides found to be at the same distance.

Used the cutoff grander and cut notches in the aft wing stub arm to collapse the ends around the attachment bushing to fit inside the aft spar. Repeated the process on both sides.

Ground off each bushing to fit inside the front and aft spars on both sides. Fitted the lower right wing onto the right wing stub. Leveled the lower right wing and using the laser positioned the wing perpendicular to the fuselage.

Applied a light coat of lanolin to the top wing inserts on both sides of the center section.

Installed two thimbles in the ground cable attachments on the right side center section. Positioned the ground cable into the forward thimble and crimp it in place using two crimps. The final crimp will occur after the cable end is cut flush with the sleeve. Measured out a length of the forward ground cable and cut it. Repeated the process for the aft ground cable.

Measured out a length of prop edge tape and cut two equal lengths. Applied each strip of tape to the leading edge of the prop. Care was taken to eliminate and air bubbles or wrinkles.
