Brief Description: Finished the Wing Stub Trailing Edges
Painted the fuselage bracket on both the left and right sides of the airplane. Also painted the aft wing stubs where they were welded and ground smooth.
Mounted the right side trailing edge into the fuselage bracket and aligned it across the stub rib ends. Attached the trailing edge to the wing ribs with a strap and three 1/8 inch pop rivets on each rib. Drilled a 1/8 inch hole on the fuselage bracket on the inside and secured the trailing edge with a 1/8 inch pop rivet. Repeated the same process for the left side wing stub. Using a cut-off wheel removed the excess pipe from the end of the trailing edges on each wing stub. Sanded each wing trailing edge end smooth.
Removed the tires from the airframe and set the axle on a dolly. They will be broke down and painted and put back together and installed later.
