Fabricated two L brackets 5/8" by 2" four inches long. Mounted the instrument panel and marked each side panel for the braces. Removed each side panel and cut a 6"slit at the marked location. Install one bracket on each side panel. Orient the bracket so the rivits are located behind the instrument panel. Place each side panel back in place.
