Brief Description: Access Panel for the Right Wing Stub
Cut 1/2 inch notches in the ends of the angles for the right side wing stubs. Filed the edges smooth and rounded the corners. Placed the forward angle with the notched edge up at the front of the wing ribs against the forward upright brackets. Drilled and installed a 1/8 inch pop rivet in each end of the cross brace. Installed the second cross brace about 15 inches from the front brace with a 1/8 inch pop rivet in each end. Fabricated two L brackets with the short side 3/8 inches long and the long side 1 1/4 inches long and a length of 3 inches. Installed each of the L brackets about 3/5 of the way back from the trailing edge using three 1/8 inch pop rivets. The cross braces and the side L brackets will be drilled lock nuts installed with 1/16 inch pop rivets during the next work day.
