Trimmed 2-ply of BID cloth to fit on each of the plywood braces between the firewall and the aft landing gear bulkhead.
Mixed a batch of epoxy using 142g resin and 54g hardner. Shop temperature 24 deg C and humidity 62%.
Applied epoxy to the BID cloth using a paint brush.
Mixed a batch of micro with the remaining epoxy and applied it to the 2" blocks on the bottom and the front/aft sides then positioned the blocks in place without moving the BID cloth.
Using a grinder, hacksaw, and file I fabricated sixteen 1/4" x 1/4" x 1/2" aluminum inserts that will be installed in the landing gear bulkheads to hold the landing gear cover in place.
