Brief Description: Prepared fuselage side aft bottom doublers
A 4' long piece of triangular longeron, 0.7" x 0.7", was cut into two 20.5" long doublers which will be installed at the aft bottom of the fuselage sides on top of the existing triangular longerons to form a square cross section.
Saw cuts were made to allow the doublers to conform to the curvature of the lower longerons.
Both doublers were positioned in place with clamps and holes were pre-drilled and nails inserted prior to applying flox.
