Materials: One sheet of H45 PVC Foam 3/4 x 32 x 48 from Aircraft Spruce Canada. PO: 904216 LOT: 40-15401 P/N: 01-12700 LOC: FOAM
The proper foam type and thickness (3/4") was verified.
The foam piece was first cut to 42" in width using a table saw.
3/4" was measured and marked from the front top edge and a 45degree taper was marked. The top of the foam was then tapered to a 45 degree angle along these marks and using a table saw with the blade oriented 45 degrees.
All sides edges were sanded. The taper was sanded and rounded.
The length was then trimmed to 28.8".'
There's lots of foam dust in the shop. I'll spend tomorrow evening vacuuming and cleaning up the shop after the kids go to bed.
