Brief Description: Power wiring and Network hub location
My avionics package included the Composite Design Radio power panel and also the UL Power ECU power panel. The ECU power panel has switches for normal and emergency power to the ECU and fuel pumps as well as a switch to select the primary or secondary fuel pump. LEDs show engine problems and fuel pump selection. Package also has a wiring harness making this part of the installation fairly simple. The relay shown on the FW in 1st photo is used when emergency power is selected. This take power from upstream side of the master solenoid instead of the downstream side of the MS where everything else is connected. Second photo shows the feedthru with the power wire connected. The other end of this wire will be connected to the ECU power panel emergency switch. The 3rd photo shows where I have decided to mount the Fast Stack network hub. This is about the midpoint on the upper FW and should allow access to all the remote instruments that will be mounted on the instrument shelf. Stay tuned!
