Brief Description: Install ELT Panel Switch and Antenna
Received Artex ELT this morning so I went to work on getting it installed. First up was to install the panel switch which can activate and test the ELT. I already had made the cutout for this so installation was quick and easy. Moved on the drilling hole in back top skin for antenna. Secured it with lock washer and nut. Reviewed instructions for fabricating the shelf bracing for the ELT. Need to buy some thicker L angles in order to make bracing very stiff. This will be a project for tomorrow.
