Drilled holes in top shelf on front of firewall for the side strap rods. Drilled holes in bungee pin for cotter pins to hold side straps in place. Installed side straps. Dropped lower spring saddle and center rod into nose gear. Put upper spring saddle on center rod. Had to tighten center rod nut to bottom of threads just to get side nuts to engage. Since this does not appear to be like the other installations I have seen online, I am contacting other builders and the manufacturer for clarification before I continue.
