Started to assemble center console. After a lot of fitting tries, I modified the side panels to fit. Had to trim off about 0.25" off the part of the side panel that intersects the center spar. Also had to fabricate new L braces since the one in my kit were not long enought to reach from firewall to instrument panel. Pictures show center console upright attached to instrument panel and center spar. Drilled and clecoed these parts and will start drilling on side panels tomorrow.
