Brief Description: Wingtip, tie down ring and rear skin bracing
Decided to wrestle with wingtip today. It was not as bad as I thought it wouild be and it actually fits pretty good. There is a small gap at the nose but I can fill and sand it and after some paint will look great. Next came the tie down ring. Very simple to install since all the pilot holes are already drilled in both pieces. Last for the day was the spanwise middle bracing for the bottom skin. I had already cut out the pieces for this. I removed all clecoes from rear skin and turned skin over. Taped each piece down and back drilled thru exist skin pilot holes. Drilled out braces to A4 final size.
