Prop Spinner 6 - File, File, File
To get from picture 1 to 2, you are looking at 2 1/2 hours of filing. Slow and steady.
I did the following steps approximately 1 zillion times.
Fit the spinner to the prop. Draw the area to cut out with a sharpie. File to size.
I kept thinking I was really close, but the spinner kept silding on further and further.
NOTE - All those EXACT measurements I made at the beginning didn't really make much different. I have filed away soooooo much fiberglass.
The final fitting shows the spinner butting right up to the cowling. (To trim to the actual size, I needed to remove the cowling.)
