I worked with the stretcher and shrinker to build a metal fairing for the front of the canopy. Many people do it out of fiberglass, but I think I'll try making out of aluminum.
I started with some scraps and tinkered with the stretcher and shrinker. I then cut the left fairing and started working with it. I worked about an hour and a half and decided to quit for a bit. (I was starting to get frustrated.) I'm not sure how close it needs to be. I can hold it in place and it seems to fit well.
So, I started building the C-728 parts for the strutt. (I excited to see how the strutts work and if they will actually keep this heavy canopy up. They seem so small.)
