This evening was another dance with the canopy skin and forward fuselage skin. The gap is a bit larger than specified. (Many builders have posted that the skins bind when lifting the canopy so they suggest making the gap a bit larger.
I started by checking the fit on the forward skin. (Fluting the flanges in an attempt at making the forward skin fit lower.)
I finally had a bit of success by using another thickness of UHMW tape.
I'm frustrated and am going home to see if I can find any suggestions on-line.
