I cut the square hole in the angle piece next to the upper longeron this evening. (It would have been cut much earlier if actually building the fuselage rather than having the quick build. I ended up drilling holes though near the guide marks. Than, I used a file to size it. I used a single hack saw blade to cut through the canopy deck lip. (Not an easy process... but I could see no other way of doing it.)
