I started out the evening taking out the interior I had been admiring for the past few days. (The fuselage looks so empty without it.)
After straighting things up in the hangar, I started working on the canopy latch again. I did a bit more work on the fitting of the pieces. (Enlarging the grooves in the fuselage and polishing the handle parts.)
- Countersunk holes in angle iron - Dimpled skin - Drilled hole for knob - Enlarged hole in bracket - Threaded screw
I also spent time trying to figure out the fitting of the canopy frame.
