The first thing I did out at the hangar this afternoon was to replace the left canopy bearing block. The pin was tight in the old one, so I drilled it out a bit. (But... too much) The slid in and out very easily so I decided to replace the entire setup.
The parts came in over the weekend so using the old one as a pattern, I redrilled both nylon parts. The pin still slides in a bit stiff... but the mechanism easily moves it in and out so I'm going to leave it.
