While I was back working on the blast tubes, I thought I'd attach the oil breather tube. It looked easiest enough in the directions. The problem is... the adapter coming out of the engine is a different size and facing a different direction.
I ended up attaching the aluminum breather tube to the engine with a piece of reinforced rubber tubing. (It is high pressure, auto tubing... but the breather tube is under almost no pressure.)
I connected the bottom of the breather tube to the engine mount so it dumps out right over the exhaust. I have it sitting away from the firewall about 5/8 of an inch. I added rubber mounts just in case it bumps the firewall.
My only concern was where the breather tube passed by the stainless flexible tubing for the oil cooler. I connected them adel clamp to adel clamp so they wouldn't rub on each other.
