I think this setup is the best. I went back to the directions and hung the exhause very similar to the way it showed in the drawings. I was afraid the system I came up with would twist over time and end up dropping the exhaust too low.
The only mod I made was to extend the height of the cross support by about 3/4 of and inch. This got the support well above the cables coming in.
I left the temporary nuts in place... thinking I will probably have to remove everything a dozen more times. (I left blue tape to remind me to change out the nuts.
