AGH! Another confusing item. The air box has been in the back of my mind for a few months. I have been thinking about different ways of tackling it. None seem very efficient. I finally decided to just dive right in. If I goof it up… how expensive could a new one be.
Thank goodness for the Internet, the plans are very sketchy.
This evening I spent 3 hours and have absolutely nothing to show for it. I installed and uninstalled the frame for the airbox a dozen times. I installed the cowling a dozen times as well.
2 worries – 1. How the heck do I know where to cut the dang thing. 2. The fiberglass part of the airbox is super close to the cowling.
