Next, I worked on the front air scoop. Again, it involves putting the top cowling on... testing the fit... marking where to trim and starting the process over again.
Without the top cowling on, the bottom part of the cowling has some 'slop.' So, it required installing the top cowling a zillion times. I tried taping the bottom cowling firmly with the top cowling on... but there was still too much movement when the top was removed.
It looks like the air intake requires the most fitting and crafting... but I may be surprised later.
