This afternoon, I worked on a number of the firewall items. First was the transducer. The directions call for cutting off one of the fittings because you only need 2. I left the third on for the time being thinking that I might need it in the future.
I drilled out one of the rivets and bolted on the tranducer BEFORE I realized you need to put the fittings on first. (You can't screw them on with the thing bolted on.) I had also sealed up the holes so it was messing taking off.
The blue tape in the picture is a reminder to add the brass plugs.
