After taking the everything apart, I started riveting it back together. Most of the rivets went it great. I spent 80% of the time this evening on 4 rivets. The are the 4 at the top of the rib where it attaches to the frame. The squeezer doesn't fit in well and there is no room for the rivet gun. I even tried the hand squeezer with no luck.
Finally, after drilling each of them out, I was able to get the squeezer in enough to do a decent job. The squeezed head is still a bit slanted... but the rivet isn't going anywhere.
Then, I put the assembly back in the fuselage. Actually, I was barely able to get it back in. When it is riveted together, there is no play and for a while I didn't think I was going to get it in without removing some of the rivets.
Hopefully, I will be able to test my idea tomorrow.
