This evening, I worked on the rudder/brake pedals.
- Installed painted brake pedals. (Installed them four times trying to get the right pedals in the right position. I had marked the pedals, but the paint covered my markings) - Connected the brake cylinders to each pedal - Mounted pedals in fuselage - Tested them out (I hopped into the plane and checked them out. I hope I tilted the brake pedals forward enough!) - Attached the rudder cables using wire to get a test fit. - Attached the rudder cables with scrap aluminum... for a better test fit. - Constructed the rudder cable links - These critters took almost an hour and a half to fabricate 4 of them. (Well... actually... I 5. The first one was a template for the rest.) - Installed the rudder cable link - NICE!
