Before I headed out this evening, I sprayed a coat of hammered gray paint on the forward part of the fuselage. Almost all of the area I painted will be covered with the interior, but I wanted a light coat of paint over the primer. I'm hoping it will protect everything better than just primer.
I used hammered gray because I'm hoping it's harder to screw it up. (Painting is not my expertise. Although I'm not sure airplane building is either.)
