Brief Description:  Wear Block

It doesn't seem possible that it could take two hours to complete these tiny pieces. I actually spent over an hour looking for them. (I decided to go systematically through the entire shop... cleaning as a went.) I finally found the parts in a bag that I contained some cables. (For the seatbelts) I thought the pieces were bigger when I was looking.

The tiny backplates you cut out to support the rivets are harder than they look. I ended up cutting them out three times. I read where a builder used snips to cut them out. (It just bends the material.) The next time I used the bandsaw and it goofed them up. Finally, I just went back to the hacksaw and they turned out acceptable.

I also drilled and fabricated the wear blocks.

(The hangar was 35 degrees... brrr)
