This evening I finished up some items that have been nagging at me.
Upright Cap Strip - All I did here was remove the blue covering and smoothed the edges. (I wish everything was this easy.
Tunnel Cover - I had finished this months ago but wasn't happy with the fit. (I had ordered new parts from Vans) - Drilled out rivets on old tunnel cover - Checked the fit of the 741As (I enlarged the right front hole just a bit. - I then taped the 741B cover onto the assembly. (I wanted to make sure that everything was lined up correctly - Next I drilled, countersunk, and deburred the pieces - Riveted everything together. (It's been a while since I've had to use the actual rivet gun. Most riveting I've been doing has been with the squeezer - Drilled the top center hole - Drill through the floor for the platenut (I put screws in the floor to make sure it was lined up)
