Today, Cormac and I worked on the seat channel attachements. The hardest part was trying to figure out how to bend the F-705J. Cormac has a break for bending metal. (If we only knew how to use it:-) Luckly, Cormac figured it out and we were able to bend the pieces.
We drilled the end hole in each of the main pieces, then clecoed them on the channel. Laying on my back on the floor of the fuselage, I was able to drill the rest of the holes. (While I was showered with aluminum bits.)
We used an 1/8 inch piece of angle iron to get the depth of the F-705J set correctly. When everything was done, I primed everything. Next step... riveting!
