I continued through the instructions carefully checking the work on each step. There were a few things that weren't completed, so I worked on them.
Brake Bracket - Drilled, deburred, and dimpled the firewall where the brake bracket connects. (Used the pop rivet gun with dimpling dies) I also countersunk the holes in the bracket and smoothed the edges
Firewall Recess - Drilled, deburred, and dimpled the firewall recess unit. Then, squeezed the rivets on the unit itself. (The recess unit is riveted to the firewall much later.)
