Cormac helped with the assembly of the aileron pushrod. (I cut and primed it yesterday) Drilling and riveting this little bugger is a TWO PERSON job. Cormac held while drove the rivets. The small diameter of the rod makes holding it straight difficult. It turned out great.
Next, we assembled the aileron bellcrank and bracket. Adding a servo and its bracket added to the complexity. Everything went without a hitch.
Before we put the pushrod in place for good... I need to do some filing to give it move clearance where it passes through the spar near the aileron. (As per Van's - phonecall)
