I should have taken more pictures of the process for re-sizing the wingtip. The instructor at the fiberglassing class I took had a couple of great ideas for making them fit correctly.
The tip on the left horizontal stabilizer stuck out too far and fit very poorly. I ended up having to recut the groove that fits under the skin. I used the Sonicrafter to sand down the fairing to fit in correctly.
When I do the right side, I'll take some detailed pictures.
