This afternoon, I worked on the rudder stops. First, I fabricated the left rudder stop. Checked the fit and then used it to build the right rudder stop. To get the exact fit, I taped a masonite board on the elevator. I taped on after swinging the rudder to the exact location. (35 degrees)
I installed the rudder stops on with the key cleco. After everything was set correctly, I drilled the other 3 holes. I countersunk the holes by hand.
When I was satisfied with everything, I primed the stops.
