After fretting for hours before fitting the first set of supports, today went pretty quick. (Although, I took it slow:-) I cut and fit the support for the right side top. Then for the left and right side. I clamped everything in place and drilled hole by hole adding clecoes as I went. I also tapped the support with a mallet as I moved along. My intent was to keep the support as close to the firewall as possible.
Fitting the right side top piece was much easier and used the left side as a rough pattern.
NOTE - I should probably mention I am not using the hinge fittings supplied with the kit. I'm using CamLocs. Another detail I spent WAY too much time pondering.
