-A fitting was clamped to each center tab and the hole was outlined unto the fitting. The manual stated that a hole should be drilled 1/16’ below the hole that was outlined, to accommodate the Q-cell. -The holes for the aft shell fittings were drilled as stated in the manual. Back-drilled the remaining flanges.-Taped the outline for the Q-cells. -Waxed the upper and aft fittings shell fittings to prevent them from bonding to the resin.-Mixed batch of resin and added the Q-cells.-Added a thick layer of this resin to the area where the fitting would sit. Pushed the fitting into the beds of the Q-cell.
