Brief Description:  Fiberglass

Peeled the VS tip, sanded overhang and peel ply wrinkles. Capped off the foam with 1.45 oz indus cloth per Image 1. Laid peel ply on top of the 1.45

Peeled the HS tips, sanded overhang. Put 2nd layer of 4.5 oz cloth on the outside of the foam and a layer of 4.5 oz on the inside w/reinforcement strips. Peel-ply added to the outsides as before.

Sanded the other sides of the elevator tips w/palm sander. Belt sanded the trailing edges that deviated from the shape of the metal TE. (One side on each elevator.) This broke thru the FG layups just a bit. Mixed up some Superfil to put into the tips to tie the top and bottom together again. Superfiled a few misc areas on the elevtor tip joints.

Wiped down the rudder FG til and metal along the joint line with MEK. Reinforced the Superfil "extension" of the rudder FG tip w/ 4.5 oz and wrapped the joint w/ strip of 1.45 oz cloth. per Image 2.

Used Superfil to "mortar" slivers of foam to ends of trim tab to cover up the ugly bending job.
