--At home during the week, sanded and repainted right wingtip. Cracked the seam aft of spanwise rin where split halves rejoined while handling. --Installed left NAV/STRB in left wingtip and installed wingtip. Tied connector together with lacing tape, (Images 1--wingtip resting on brown leatherette pillows at tip of the left wing.) --Installed right NAV/STRB in right wingtip. It was too far forward--lens wouldn't go on. Re-drilled and attached the mounting wye-plate with pull rivets. Lens fit is now good. --Poured flox just ahead and aft of of spanwise rib (image 2) to reinforce the cracked joint. Wingtip was elevated so the flox flowed aft (Image 3). When cured, there was a narrow strip if yellow epoxy on the outside of the wingtip about 3" long where the crack had occured.
