Brief Description: Start assembly of tailcone area
This is actually the results of about 3 days of part time work. Or should I say fun. I was having fun until my pneumatic rivet puller stopped working for me. I took a hard look at it and noticed that a piece had been cross threaded from the factory and I think that s the cause of premature failure. I bought a new one today again from Harbor Freight and checked it out before I left the store and it works great. I might save the old one for parts. I still have to finish breaking the skins to finish up this section but I have decided that it isn't as hard as I initially thought it would be. This first kit shouldn't take too long to finish and I still need to order my wing kit to stay in business. I hope to do that next week. I still find it amazing how well all the holes line up and how satisfying the building process has become. This definately beats the heck out of watching TV!
